Itinerary
Day 1: Beijing Arrival
Beijing Capital International Airport
Welcome to Beijing! To ensure your arrival is stress-free, your private driver will meet you in the arrivals hall and transfer you to your hotel in a private car. Your luggage and hotel check-in will be taken care of. Please note: Your driver will no English speaking, and your English-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel lobby on Day 2.
Day 2: Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, and Forbidden City
Temple of Heaven
Your private guide and drive will meet you in the hotel lobby at the suggested time. Start your journey at the Temple of Heaven, a dignified complex of religious buildings, symbolizing the relationship between Earth and Heaven. There you will see local people doing morning exercise in their unique ways. Please note: About lunch, your guide will recommend a restaurant based on your request. Lunch fee on your own side.
Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
Riding about 20 minutes after Temple of Heaven to Tiananmen square the world’s largest central squares. It’s located in the geographical heart of the city. Stand amid the history as your guide explains its past and points out its significant buildings.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
Thereafter, you’ll continue into the Forbidden City shrouded with mysteries. During the walking tour, you may feel confused about the special designs and totems of the palace, especially the cultural meaning behind them.
Why there are 9 sculptures of mythical animals on the roof ridge of Hall of Supreme Harmony but not 8 or 10; why there are 9999.5 but not 10000 rooms in the palace;

Day 3: Mutianyu Great Wall and Summer Palace
Mutianyu Great Wall
Your private guide and driver pick you up from the hotel at the suggested time. Heading to Great Wall at Mutianyu, It will take about 1.5 hours to arrive. This is one of the most famous and ideal sections of the Great Wall.
Option 1: You could choose a chairlift up to Tower 6. Then spend around a few hours on the great wall. And choose toboggan down from Tower 6.
Option 2: Take the cable car up to Tower 14 and the cable car down from Tower 14. If you scare about the height, it will be better to choose a cable car up and down. If not, chairlift up and toboggan down will have lots fine. Lunch, Many options after great wall walking. You may choose to have rest at Subway restaurant, enjoy the table under the sunshine.
Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)
Heading to Summer Palace which is a summer resort for Imperial Family Members~considered the best-preserved Imperial Park. There are beautiful many pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges and huge lakes, and corridors. While the Long Corridor is the longest one in the world which is on the Genuineness World Records.
Day 4: Shanghai City Highlights ( Pick up from Hotel )
Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
We pick you up from the hotel. So Beijing to Shanghai airport or train station transfer Do Not include. If you need it, please contact us and pay separately. The first stop is Yu Garden, within low red-brick walls lies the masterpiece of traditional Chinese-style gardens, built with a perfect balance of natural peacefulness.
Shanghai Tower
Shanghai Tower is the tallest building in China (highest outside Dubai), where you will not only enjoy a panoramic view of Shanghai but will also see the future of China.
The Bund (Wai Tan)
Do more than just take one or two selfies on the Bund. Let’s travel back in time to the golden age of the Bund in the 1920s during our In-Depth Bund Culture Discovery Tour. Go into some of the old Bund buildings and listen to their stories. See the room that Albert Einstein stayed in.
Day 5: Shanghai Tongli Water Town and Suzhou Half Day
Tongli Town
Your private guide and driver pick you up from the hotel in Shanghai. Riding about 2 hours arrive Tongli Water Town. Driving out of Shanghai, you will take a leisurely boat ride along the waterways in Tongli Water Town. Stories of the old trading days bring this town alive.
Humble Administrator’s Garden
After lunch (your own cost), you will reach another important city — Suzhou. There, you will visit the famous Humble Administrator’s Garden. Despite its name, the garden is far from being humble. You will see some thoughtfully-designed landscaping masterpieces, which were used by the upper classes to enjoy their days.
Every detail has been forged carefully to enhance rather than suppress the natural beauty, which is evidence of the Chinese philosophy regarding harmony. Stay overnight in Suzhou.
Day 6: Half Day Suzhou and Drop off Hotel at Hangzhou by Car/Van
Suzhou Ancient Grand Canal
Your private guide and drop pick you up from the hotel, after a half-day tour and lunch, you will be dropped off at the hotel in Hangzhou. Hangzhou half-day tour will include Ancient Grand Canal boat riding and Shantang old street.
Shantang Street
You can choose to have lunch during a walk on the old street, after that, we will take you to the hotel in Hangzhou, your Suzhou guide will finish work after this, the only driver take you to the hotel in Hangzhou.
Day 7: Hangzhou Highlights, West Lake, Lingyin Temple
Lingyin Temple
Your private guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel. The first stop will be Lingyin Temple, also known as the Temple of the Soul’s Retreat.
West Lake (Xi Hu)
West Lake appeal varies between the seasons: the willows sway and the flowers bloom in the springtime, the ponds are full of lotus flowers during summer, the full moon reflects on the lake during autumn, and the lakeside pagodas can be covered in snow in winter. No matter what time of year you go there, the scenery always seems to be at its best.
Day 8: Hangzhou Half Day and drop off at Bullet Train Station
Leifeng Pagoda
Your private guide and driver pick you up from the hotel with luggage. A half-day tour in Hangzhou includes Leifeng Pagoda, Hefang old street, and then drop you off at Hangzhou train station or airport. Then the 8-day tour finished. If you need more service, for example, airport/ train station pick up / drop off, please contact us separately.
Hefang Street
Hefang Street is the most famed street in Hangzhou City. With brilliant culture and long history, it is regarded as a typical symbol of ancient Hangzhou. Vising this busy but interesting street, you can catch a glimpse of antique buildings and long-survived stores, taste local snacks as well as savor the beautiful artifacts.
