Itinerary

Stonehenge

Take a drive through the chalk hills surrounding Stonehenge to start the day in Ancient Wessex. We arrive at the prehistoric site just as it is opening and are treated to a guided tour of the stone circle and a peek inside the visitor center. We’ll learn about the monument’s construction methods and potential purpose as well as what is known and what may never be known before heading west to the Roman city of Bath.

Roman Baths

We take a trip to Bath to see the hot springs and the ruins of the city’s 2,000-year-old baths. Walk along the original Roman pavement while admiring the Roman Temple. Indulge in a Sally Lunn bread bun for lunch in one of the elegant tea rooms. After that, we’ll explore the Georgian city’s crescents and squares, which were constructed 250 years ago during Bath’s heyday as a hotspot for dancing, bathing, and other forms of recreation.

The Windsor Castle

The last stop on our journey is Windsor, home to the imposing Windsor Castle, the world’s oldest and largest continuously occupied castle, and the current Queen’s preferred residence. Visitors can tour the state apartments, the Grand Reception Room, and the Royal Chapel of St. George, which served as the wedding venue for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and is the final resting place for many of our Kings and Queens.

Because Windsor Castle is still the Royal Residence, it may close unexpectedly. As a result, access to the Castle is not included. If you’re planning a trip to Windsor Castle, make sure to check the website ahead of time.

Chapel of St. George
