Venice Foodie Experience and Moonlight Gondola Ride
Your evening starts at 5:00pm as you walk off the beaten track and into San Polo’s local neighborhood to meet your local, specialist guide and tiny group of no more than 12 individuals. Your guide will offer you a short introduction to Venice’s traditional ingredients and flavors, then take you for an aperitif to one of its favourite bars, including 2 tiny dishes (cicchetti) and a Spritz, the unofficial cocktail of Venice.
After a short walk past the Campo dei Frari and Scuola Grande di San Rocco, our next stop is a local osteria specializing in fried seafood baskets, one of Venetians ‘ favourite meals. You will share some with the other individuals in the group directly from the tap over a glass of local prosecco.
Stepping into Dorsodoruo neighborhood, our third location is one of Venice’s favourite places to eat a steaming warm risotto, another specialty from Venice. You’re going to sample a version of seafood and vegetarian, so make sure you’re saving room. We will also ensure that your glass stays up with delicious wine from the house.
You will walk over to the closest gondola stand after a nice treat to complete off the evening, where your guide will assist you into a gondola. The guided portion of the trip finishes here, but under the stars you will enjoy another 30 minutes of cruising the canals. It’s the ideal end to a night in Venice to eat and drink.
