Lisbon Full Day Tour w/ Sao Jorge Castle

Be ready at your hotel in Lisbon just before 9:00 am for pick-up. This is a small group tour conducted in a minivan seating 8 passengers max.
Lisbon is a vibrant and seductive city where old charm coexists with the avant-garde. On this not-to-be-missed guided tour, we begin at Belem, where the caravels left for the New World – an outdoor monument in praise of the Discoveries. Here we will see the Tower of Belem sitting at the Tagus riverside, and the imposing Jeronimos Monastery, both elevated to World Heritage status by UNESCO.
Afterward, we will continue to Mae d’Agua (Mother of Water), a massive reservoir built between the 18th and 19th centuries that stored water from the Aguas Livres Aqueduct. Inside we will visit a small museum dedicated to the history of the city’s water supply, as well as a cascade with a beautiful light effect. Climbing some stairs, you can access the terrace for an impressive view over Lisbon.
From here we continue our trip to the historical center, to feel the true essence of Lisbon. It’s time to get out of the car and walk between alleys and narrow streets through some of the traditional neighborhoods like Castelo, Mouraria, Graca, and Alfama. It has never been so good to ‘get lost’ while discovering Lisbon!
