Cliffs of Moher, Atlantic Edge + Galway City Day Tour from Dublin

Cross Ireland’s west coast on a fantastic day journey from Dublin to explore Cliffs of Moher, visit the Atlantic Edge, and tour Galway.

We’re going to depart from Dublin at 7:30am, traveling through Kildare, Limerick, and County Clare. We’re going to pass Bunratty Castle, a formidable Norman fortress, as we pass Lahinch, a popular surfing and golf destination. We will stop for a 20-minute break on the manner to Moher’s Cliffs before arriving at 11:00 am.

Enjoy amazing views of these picturesque cliffs and stroll along the edge for sweeping Atlantic panoramas. To explore this incredible appeal, we will have 2 hours here. If you’d like refreshments at the Puffins Cafe, situated on the heritage site of the Atlantic Edge. We also included an Atlantic Edge premium ticket.

This intriguing interpretive center is located in a dome with historical photographs and displays detailing the history of the Cliffs. You will meet THE LEDGE as you tour the center, a Virtual Reality Theater that will enable you to experience opinions of the Cliff from above and below. Feel the wind in your hair as you experience in Virtual Reality this phenomenal appeal.

At 1:00pm, we will continue along the Atlantic coast through the Burren, stopping for 20 minutes to walk around the Atlantic Ledge and experience this lunar landscape. We’ll see Blackhead Lighthouse along the manner and discover Kinvara Fishing Village, home to the distinctive hookers (boats) of Galway. Next, we will see Dunguire Castle, the King of Connaught’s royal palace.

We will arrive in Galway by 3:30pm, stopping at the Cathedral of Galway. Here we will start our tour of Galway, following your specialist guide on a walk through this historic town, defined by Yeats as West Venice. Our tour will take us in just 30 minutes to discover the free-spirited, artistic and bohemian style of Galway. Enjoy exploring the narrow pedestrian musical streets and discovering its secrets with countless specialty stores, boutiques and cafes.

At 5:30pm we will say goodbye to Galway and start our scenic trip back to Dublin, relaxing as we travel through central Ireland. The on-board entertainment will include excerpts from the Riverdance series and other selected examples of Irish culture that are determined by the tour guide who takes care of you for the day. We’re going to get to Dublin by 8:00pm.
