Boston Freedom Trail Day Tour from New York City
Departure from New York along the East Coast through Connecticut to Massachusetts and its capital, Boston.
Our first stop is the city of Cambridge where Harvard can find one of the world’s most famous and prestigious universities. Our tour begins with a walk through Harvard Yard, America’s oldest academic ground. We see the library of Widener, and then rub John Harvard’s shoe for good luck.
We go on a panoramic tour passing through City Hall, MIT, and Cambridge College, we cross the Charles River and arrive at the heart of the country’s intellectual capital. Visit Copley Square with its lovely Trinity Chapel. First up is a stroll along the Boston Common Park free trail.
We break at Quincy Market for lunch. Order a world-famous lobster roll or Clam Chowder. After lunch, we’ll visit the popular Tea Party website.
We will leave southwest in the late afternoon for an evening arrival in New York.
