Itinerary

Day 1: Lima – Huaraz

You’ll be picked up from your Lima hotel or from Lima airport today and transferred to the bus station. You’ll go to Huaraz from here.

In the evening you’ll arrive where your guide will meet you and transfer you to the airport.

Day 2: Huaraz – Callejon de Huaylas – Huaraz

We will ride along the Valley of the Santa River this day, between the Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Negra.

Our journey will lead us to appreciate the picturesque villages and towns such as Carhuaz, Yungay, Mancos and Caraz and the Cordillera Blanca’s most significant peaks.

We will drive up to Llanganuco Lake, located in the Huscaran National Park between the Huscaran Mountains and Huandoy Mountains, showing a spectacular view of its turquoise blue waters with a variety of plants and fauna.

After a spectacular day exploring this Peruvian hidden gem we will be returning to Huaraz.

Day 3: Huaraz – Chavin de Huantar – Lima (Overnight)

From Huaraz we will visit the most representative ceremonial center of high culture in Peru

Over 3,000 years old and considered the beginning of Peruvian high culture, Chavin de Huantar is home to monumental architecture with sunken plazas and underground galleries, fine lytic art with the exceptional “Lanzon de Chavin,” the “Estelas,” with anthropomorphic figure. The “Portada de las Falcónidas,” with its columns and cornices, and the “Cabezas Clavas” surrounding the Main Temple, are also outstanding.

We’ll return to the hotel after lunch. We’ll transfer back to the bus station and departure to Lima in the evening.

Day 4: Lima

We will arrive at the bus station in Lima in the morning and transfer you to the airport for your departure flight, or to your hotel.
