Perth Wildlife Park, Swan Valley, and Pinnacles Tour
Perth – Caversham Wildlife Park – Swan Valley – Nambung National Park – Lancelin – Perth
This enjoyable day trip departs from Perth at 8:30am, where you can get up close to Koalas, and the first stop is Caversham Wildlife Park. After about an hour with these magnificent Australian icons, we’re back on our bus and take the short drive to the spectacular Swan Valley. You’ll also see a wide variety of other animales, birds and pupils from Australia.
Swan Valley is renowned for its wide variety of world famous vineyards, restaurants, cafés and art galleries. During this trip you can sample a variety of wines in one of the vineyards, and then a nice lunch with a glass of wine.
We’ll travel to the Nambung National Park after lunch along the Indian Ocean Road for a closer look at the Pinnalces. The Park is a natural habitat for a wide range of birds and animals. It occupies an areas of 17 487 hectares. Luckily for us is a new discovery center with interesting interactive displays of descriptions of the Pinnacles and of the park’s flora and fauna.
Through our busses, we’ll be able to see the Pinnacles on a scenic ride through the park prior to walking to a quick, paceful walk in this irritating but fascinating landscape.
Returning on board the bus, we are heading to the city of Lancelin for an hour to the south to finish the day. You will admire the vast sand dunes here and maybe try sandboarding on the sand board (think snowboarding, just replace the snow with sand) for the more daring travellers.
At about 19:30 we will go back to Perth after having had some of the best activities in the region.
