Mendoza City Tour and General San Martin Park. Seated at the foot of the Andes, Mendoza is a spectacular and peaceful home best experienced from the eyes of a local. We will introduce you to all the intriguing historical and modern sights of the city. As we walk through this oasis, we will see many streets lined with palm trees and irrigation channels that date back to the city’s founding. In addition to Independence Square, we’ll visit the four smaller squares surrounding it.
On Sarmiento, a pedestrian street, we’ll learn about Mendocino’s unique culture and architecture, including the Pasaje San Martin and the Ministry of Culture. After that, we’ll make our way to the Central Market, where we can sample such regional delicacies as “alfajor or dulce de leche.”. Our next stop is famed Emilio Civit Avenue, which leads to the historic San Martin Park, home to the park’s iconic gateway. We’ll drive by Aristides Avenue on the way back to get a sense of the area’s vibrant atmosphere of bars and restaurants.

During your tour of this peaceful city, some of the main attractions we will visit include the Historical Area, Alameda, and General San Martin Park – the most important urban green areas in Argentina.
Within the park, we’ll visit the Cerro de la Gloria with the Army of the Andes monument at the top and the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas – the largest stadium in Argentina – before traveling to the Frank Romero Day Amphitheater, which is the central stage for the Vintage National Festival.
