Mekong Delta Small-Group Tour With Vinh Trang Pagoda & Rowing Boat
8:00AM Before heading to the Mekong Delta, we’ll pick you up at your Ho Chi Minh City hotel. On your one and a half hour bus ride, enjoy the scenery and lush rice paddies. We will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda along the way, the largest pagoda in the Mekong delta. Take a boat ride along the Mekong River to My Tho, where you can see fish cages and floating houses along the river.
You’re taken to a small canal by ferry, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the area. We will disembark on Ben Tre’s coconut island and take a stroll around the village. To enjoy tropical fruit, taste the honey tea and honey wine and listen to traditional Vietnamese music performed by the villagers, stop at a nearby family home. Check out the shop for coconut candy and learn how to make candy, and see the coconut crafts.
Before going to the nearest restaurant, take your time to snap pictures and admire the natural scenery. Lunch is prepared with special Vietnamese dishes. Under the shade of the trees, enjoy your lunch outdoors. Enjoy your time relaxing & cycling around the village after lunch.
Return to Saigon and arrive at 4:45 PM
