Chamonix Mont-Blanc Day Trip w/ Aiguille du Midi + Mer de Glace
We will set off from Geneva and fly to Chamonix, the world-famous village at the foot of the magnificent and majestic Mont Blanc, through the picturesque Arve Valley. Here we’re going to take an exciting ride up to Aguille du Midi, 12,391 feet above sea level. The summit panorama offers a sweeping view of Mont Blanc, the Alps ‘ highest peak.
We’ll take a cogwheel train later in the afternoon to Mer de Glace, one of Europe’s most visited glaciers. The impressive glacier has a length of four miles and an average width of three quarters of a mile.
