Barossa Food & Wine Experience One Day Tour
Travel north through Adelaide to the world-renowned wine region of Barossa. Enjoy the change of scenery as you enter the vineyards of the premium wine region of South Australia.
Your first stop is TeAro Estate, located on Williamstown’s main street in a barn of 1850’s heritage. You will be treated to morning tea from the local bakery and wine tastings in the intimate tasting room while listening to stories from four generations of family vignerons.
The next stop is a visit to the Farm Shop of Maggie Beer, a must-see while visiting the Barossa. Learn about Maggie Beer-the cook, writer, and founder of Maggie Beer Products’ and enjoy tastings of her full range of products including seasonal limited editions. You can also browse through her selected local specialty items, purchase one of her signed books, or just sit back and take a look.
On arrival at Angaston’s Lambert Estate, you can enjoy a formal wine tasting while sampling seasonal local produce from gourmet dishes. Following the main course, it is a senses festival with two signature dishes, salad, and vegetables.
You may want to buy a glass of wine from the impressive selection of wines, or you may want to enjoy a cup of coffee accompanied by their popular chocolate port.
Traveling from Lambert Estate to Mengler Hill Lookout for sweeping views of the valley and then to your final stop for the day will be Pindarie, a multi-tourism award-winning cellar door that feels more like an Australian Homestead than a cellar door. The friendly staff doesn’t just pour the wine; they share the wine history and Pindarie— a great way to complete your Barossa Food & Wine Experience.
