Itinerary
Day 1: Madrid – Avila – Salamanca – Porto
Departure from the bus terminal in the Plaza de Oriente underground car park at 08:30 a.m. Journey to Avila. A town that retains its medieval wall. A short stop to get to know its old and walled town. To Salamanca, then. Free time of great architectural and artistic richness in this University City Heritage of Humanity. Departure to the Portuguese frontier before Porto is reached.
Day 2: Porto
Start with breakfast. Porto, considered a World Heritage area, is a panoramic sightseeing trip. The cathedral, the stock exchange building and the church of Santa Clara are revered. An optional visit to a renowned winery with a tasting of its world-famous port wine is possible in the afternoon.
Day 3: Porto – Coimbra – Fatima
Start with breakfast. Departure towards Coimbra. The seat of one of Europe’s oldest universities and the birthplace of Fado. Time for free. To Fatima, then. The Christian Faith Center and World Pilgrimage Shrine, with its magnificent basilica and the location where the Virgin Mary appeared in Cova da Iria. The Chapel of the Apparitions, with the tombs of the three shepherds, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta, is the heart of the sanctuary. The opportunity to attend a procession of candles at night.
Day 4: Fatima – Batalha – Nazare – Alcobaca – Lisbon
A hotel breakfast. Departure to Batalha Monastery, a Gothic and Manueline architecture masterpiece considered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Continue to Nazare, the picturesque fishing town. Free time to visit the church and admire the tombs of Pedro and Ines de Castro in Alcobaca (World Heritage), and then to Lisbon.

Day 5: Lisbon
A hotel breakfast. Ancient Olissipo morning sightseeing tour in Lisbon, driving through its key squares and streets, Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, Coach Museum, Discovery Monument, Marquis of Pombal Square, Liberty Lane.
Afternoon at leisure for you to catch the nostalgic corners of the quarter of Alfama, the old town gathered next to its fortress, with old buildings nestled in narrow twisting Ruas full of color housing the real tabernas where Fado sounds like a past missing. The hotel’s lodging.
Day 6: Lisbon – Caceres – Madrid
Because of the city’s mixture of Roman, Islamic, Northern Gothic, and Italian Renaissance architecture, departure to Caceres is considered a World Heritage site.
