InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam

InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam

Intercontinental Amstel has a fine dining restaurant with a terrace in a monumental construction on the banks of the Amstel River. It features a health club with an indoor pool overlooking the river with iconic views.

Intercontinental Amstel’s tasteful rooms and (signature) suites give panoramic views of the town and the river. They combine classic décor with contemporary equipment such as satellite flat-screen TV and an iPod docking station.

A hot welcome from the antique reception desk will be given by the concierges. In the spa bath, steam bath and sauna equipment, visitors can relax at the health club. The on-site fitness center provides cardio facilities, weights and personal trainers for a workout.

La Rive provides French and Mediterranean culinary delights. For an informal lunch or dinner, the Amstel Brasserie is appropriate. Relax with a glass of wine or a cup of tea in the Amstel Lounge; the Royal Afternoon Tea is served daily here. You can enjoy genuine flavors of Amsterdam in the A bar. Each restaurant has a perspective of the historic Amsterdam and the Amstel River.

It is a 5-minute walk from the Royal Theater Carré, while the Van Gogh Museum is 1.9 km away. A 10-minute tram ride from Dam Square and the Royal Palace. Schiphol Airport is 20 km away and can be reached by taxi in 25 minutes and train in 15 minutes.
