Your cooking class begins with a visit to one of the local markets and the tortilla factory to buy fresh dough to hand-make your own corn tortillas. At the market, we’ll also buy the ingredients for the dishes and the salsas of the day. You will learn about all of the delights that go into the traditional Mexican flavors while at the market!
After selecting and shopping for the produce, we’ll head to the home of the Chef for the hands-on cooking class. Local chefs will share some of their own family recipes, cooking techniques and we will indulge ourselves in the delicious meals that are specially prepared for special occasions, such as family reunions, weddings, or holidays.
