Private Victoria & Butchart Gardens Tour w/ Seaplane Flight
Victoria is British Columbia’s primary town. The town is the cultural, political center of the province, despite its place on a distinct island. British Columbia’s capital is located on the island of Vancouver and is even nearer to the US border than Vancouver! It’s difficult to think, but Victoria is a very distinct town than any other Canadian.
Victoria’s beauty amazes its visitors with Britain’s real spirit living in its architecture, culture, and even people.
The trip to Victoria and Butchart Gardens starts with your personal local guide (who may also be your tour driver) picking you up at your Vancouver hotel. Please note that it is essential to be on time in the hotel room to avoid missing the ferry. Upon departure, the bus (or the vehicle) will arrive at the Ferry terminal. The ferry provides many facilities on board, including a buffet, a restaurant, a coffee shop, souvenir stores, and even free Wi-Fi.
The cruise ship runs along the scenic Strait of Georgia and the entire 90-minute journey is full of exciting sights including the strong Pacific Ocean, the magnificent hills and the distinctive skyline of Vancouver.
Once we get to Vancouver Island, we head for Victoria’s landmark, the renowned Butchart Gardens. Being Canada’s National Historic Site, the Butchart Gardens welcomes around a million visitors from around the globe a year. Enjoy the gardens collection’s variety and imagine being a member of a royal family.
During the trip you’ll see significant Victoria highlights like the BC Parliament Building and the more than 100-year-old Fairmont Hotel. You’ll also see this year’s 130-year Royal British Museum, and you’ll have time for a delicious dinner. Please be informed not to include dinner in the cost.
An entertaining aspect of the journey is meeting wild seals living at Victoria Wharf and attracting tourists to feed them. Feeding seals is a pleasant activity not only for children but also for adults!
Our trip is not yet over! We’re heading to the lovely Inner Harbor where seaplanes are leaving for different locations. From a bird’s eye perspective, you’ll have the chance to appreciate the notable beauty of the two major British Columbia towns: depart from Victoria Harbor by seaplane for an unforgettable journey across the Gulf Islands and straight into the busy Coal Harbor downtown Vancouver.
Your guide will help you with check-in and take you to the seaplane at the end of the Victoria tour. Ask your guide for instructions so you can go after the flight separately for a stroll around Vancouver Downtown.
