Half-Day Diamond Head Hiking

There is a possibility that the parking lots at Diamond Head State Monument and Makapuu Beach will be completely full of vehicles (and people). By making a reservation in advance for our Diamond Head and Makapuu Lighthouse Half-Day Hiking Tour, you will be able to ensure that you will be dropped off at both locations, allowing you to hike the highlights in a relatively short amount of time.

Itinerary
Diamond Head State Monument
Travelers will be taken first to the Diamond Head Hike where they will complete the 1.5-mile trail. The diamond head is a very popular hike in Waikiki. The 0.8-mile hike from trailhead to the summit is steep and strenuous, gaining 560 feet as it ascends from the crater floor. The walk is a glimpse into the geological and military history of Diamond Head. Located near Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii that features beautiful wildflowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and nature trips and is accessible year-round.
Makapuu Lighthouse Trail
Once dropped off at Makapuu Lighthouse, travelers will be able to experience another type of hiking atmosphere. With views from the coast and the country, you’ll be entertained with a view every second. If you’re lucky in the winter times, you’ll see whales. On super clear days you can also possibly see the other islands from their viewpoints. A must-see experience!
