07:30: AM Pick-up at the customer’s hotel and move by Saigon River Tour’s convenient minivan to Tan Cang pier.
08:00 AM A luxury speedboat departs for the Cu Chi tunnels. Enjoy a light breakfast on board with Lavie water & seasonal fruits from The Pat ‘a Chou cake, enjoy the fresh air, and appreciate the everyday life of local people living along the banks of the river.
09:15 AM: Arrive in the tunnels of Cu Chi.
09:30 AM: Watch a short film about one of the most sophisticated man-made tunnels, along with its extraordinary wartime legends, to learn more about your excursion and:

11:45 AM: Complete the Cu Chi tour and head for lunch at Tan Cang resort.
01:00 PM: Arrive at Tan Cang resort and enjoy a delicious seven-course meal with your typical Vietnamese lunch.
02:00 PM: Arrive in Saigon at your hotel and be dropped off.
Begin your day with a hotel pickup and transfer to Ho Chi Minh Pier to board your luxury speedboat. From there, take a comfortable motorboat ride to Vietnam’s famous Cu Chi Tunnels. The river trip lasts about an hour, and on board, local fruit and limitless refreshments are served.
As your guide tells you about the local people’s river-based livelihoods, observe life along the riverbanks. Enjoy fantastic photo opportunities along the Saigon River’s jungle-fringed canals and tributaries, where you may see stilted dwellings or working water buffalo.
Disembark in Cu Chi and go with your guide around the historic site, which is now a war memorial and contains an impressive maze of tunnels created by Viet Cong guerilla soldiers during the Vietnam War (known in Vietnam as the American War). Tour sections of the 121-kilometer-long complex, which was crucial to military actions like the Tet Offensive in 1968.
You may even enter one of the small corridors to see how underground supply routes, communications, hospitals, and food and ammunition depots were run. After exploring the tunnels, have lunch at a riverfront restaurant where you can sample traditional Vietnamese cuisine. In a climate-controlled minivan, return to Ho Chi Minh City, going through the countryside to get a flavor of rural life.
Stop by a cricket farm to learn about a Vietnamese delicacy while seeing crickets being prepared for consumption. Then visit a local organic herb farm to sample the fresh herbs used in many Vietnamese cuisines. Visit a home where rice paper is manufactured the old-fashioned way, by hand shaping, cooking over an open fire, and drying in the sun. Your trip concludes with a late-afternoon drop-off at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
