Akaroa
After an early morning pickup from your Christchurch accommodation by air-conditioned coach, travel to Akaroa to begin your trip. On Akaroa Harbour, the tour includes a Tourism Award Winning & Supreme Tourism Award Winning sail. Visit Akaroa’s stunning, unspoiled ancient French whaling depot. On the Banks Peninsula, a lovely tiny village tucked in an inner harbor cove of Akaroa Harbour.
The township is home to a number of historic structures, as well as craft and gift businesses and a plethora of picturesque photo opportunities.
