We depart Dublin @ 08:00, driving through the midlands down to Blarney, in the beautiful County Cork. We will pass through the Golden Vale, the most fertile lands in all of Europe with green fields as far as the eye can see.

Rock of Cashel

The world-famous Rock of Cashel in Co. Tipperary will be our first stop. You can walk in St. Patrick’s footsteps, which are bordered by ruins, Celtic crosses, and round towers, at one of Ireland’s most memorable sites. Feel Ireland’s spirit. The Rock of Cashel was the customary seat of the Munster Kings until they ceded the complex to the Catholic Church for use as a cathedral over 1,000 years ago. It is one of Europe’s outstanding examples of medieval architecture. This tour’s entrance fee (EUR 7) is included in the price.

In Cork, Ireland’s southern capital, you’ll get one hour and thirty minutes to yourself. The gourmet English Markets (1788) are a highlight, with a huge array of food stalls showcasing the best of local produce. During her State Visit in 2011, Queen Elizabeth II of England had a great time meeting local artists! Cork boasts a vibrant Irish spirit and is regarded as the “Rebel City” for its staunch resistance during the War of Independence.

Purchase a bottle of Paddy Flaherty Irish Whiskey or try a pint of Murphy’s Irish Stout. Spend 1.5 hours with your family and friends touring Cork City. Rejoin us on the journey as we return to the magnificent Blarney Castle!

Blarney Castle and Gardens

The Irish are famous for the “Blarney,” which has been immortalized in song and legend. If you kiss the Blarney Stone, you will be granted the “gift of the gab” – seven years of fluent discourse. You’ll have to bend over backwards to kiss the stone on the battlements of Blarney Castle!
