Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome To Vietnam – Hanoi Arrival
Welcome to Hanoi, the jewel of Indochina in the Orient. At the airport, our driver will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day will be your own experimentation and preparation.

Day 2: Visiting The Graceful Capital City – Group Tour
Hanoi, the colonial capital, is a unique Asian city with thousands of years of tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, tranquil lakes, and Oriental pagodas and temples.
This full-day tour takes you through the most fascinating sights of Hanoi, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh and Stilts Building, the Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda, and the 36 streets and guilds of the Old City. Also on the tour – the Lake of the Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature, peaceful West Lake with Thanh Nien street lovers, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda – There is a Bodhi tree in the pagoda’s garden, which is attached to a past story.
In 1959, Indian Prime Minister Razendia Prasat gave a bodhi tree as a gift to the Pagoda during a visit to Vietnam. The plant was grafted from the holy bodhi tree where Sakyamuni sat in a zen (meditation) role 25 centuries ago in India and attained enlightenment.
Then, visit one of the museums in the city, either the Museum of History or the Museum of Ethnology. Enjoy a popular Vietnamese water marionette demonstration in the evening.
Please notice that on Fridays and Mondays, the HCM Mausoleum is closed and most museums are closed on Mondays.

Day 3: Cruising To The Beauty Of Halong Bay – Shared Cruise
Check-out from the hotel in the morning and pick-up at 7:30 a.m. on the cruise. Take the most scenic route to Halong Bay, with emerald green rice paddies reaching as far as your eyes can see across the Red River Delta. You get to enjoy a cruise on the Bay upon arrival at Halong to better explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.
After your discovery of the bay is over, it is time to enjoy an absolutely delicious lunch of seafood. Then go to Ha Long Bay’s famous limestone cave, where you can spend some time kayaking or swimming, so you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. You will return to the boat in the evening for an early dinner, followed by a quick leisure break. You may choose to attend boat events or rest for the day.
Note: The Ha Long bay tour could be cancelled without warning in the event of poor weather (the boat is not permitted to spend the night at sea). Based on the individual situation, we will consider a substitute tour or refund.

Day 4: Morning In Vietnam’s Most Famous Bay
Get up early for a lesson in Tai Chi or just enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat returns to the port and stops at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. It’s clear from here to sail back to the main harbor and then back to Hanoi at about 4:30 pm. Drop-off at the Hanoi hotel. Time for free on your own.

Day 5: Time To Immerse In Tranquil Hanoi And Comfort Sleep On The Train To Sapa
You are free today before 20:30-21:00 until our driver meets you in the lobby of the hotel and takes you to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Sapa (schedule 21:50 – 06:30). Overnight in a shared A/C 4-berth cabin.

Day 6: Fantastic Trekking Through Stunning Hill Tribes And Rice Terraces – Group Tour
Your journey from Sapa to Lao Chai village, a Black Hmong ethnic minority village, begins by car from Sapa. You would then be able to walk to the ethnic minority hill tribe of Giay from Lao Chai. Here in a local building, you can rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your guide.
The walk continues after lunch through a bamboo forest to explore the ethnic minority village of Red Dao. You start climbing uphill to a road where the car is ready for the return to Sapa, after taking a rest near a waterfall to refresh.

Day 7: Visiting Colourful Bac Ha Market And Ban Pho Village In Sapa – Group Tour
Our car and guide will take you to Bac Ha market after breakfast. You can see the lovely rice terrace fields on the way, and the guide will have a lot of interesting details about local ethnic cultures. You will discover several special items upon arrival at the market, drink some corn wine, and enjoy some local food with ethnic people. Keep going to the animal zone after that where people buy buffaloes, pigs, and horses.
You will walk about 1 hour around the village to explore the life of the ethnic people with a beautiful rice terrace fields and then go back to Lao Cai city to see China-Vietnam border gate. Lunch in the local restaurant and then go to visit Ban Pho village.
Your tour will end at the train station in Lao Cai, where you will take the night train back to Hanoi.

Day 8: Time To Say Goodbye – Hanoi Departure
Your arrival in Hanoi will be about 5:30 am. We booked a half-day hotel for you to have a break.
Free day on your own until our driver transfers you to your departure flight at the airport.
