Day 1 Arrival to Mendoza and Wine Tour

Mendoza

Transfer from the airport to the Hotel. Mendoza, is small for a provincial capital with 125,000 inhabitants. Located in the foothills of the Andes mountains means nearby rafting, camping, and sightseeing. It is a wine center for Argentina. The downtown area is largely pedestrianized. The outdoor cafés and tree-lined avenues attest to the city’s European heritage. Mendoza is a perfect example of a successful combination of Spanish, Italian, and indigenous cultures.

Lujan de Cuyo

Half-day tour at Mendoza wineries to enjoy the most delightful wines of the 8th Wine Capital of the World. This tour will be taking you to the wineries of a “boutique” style and also to the most modern and sophisticated ones. We will visit three different wineries, two of them still using the traditional method, while the other one is one of the most modern in the region. You’ll come back with the sensation of enjoyment and pleasure in all senses.

Day 2 Atuel Canyon

Valle de Uco

We will leave early in the morning from our selected hotels in the city of Mendoza to head south of the province, while we see the impressive landscapes of the Uco Valley, with its deserts, water mirrors, and vestiges of the passage of time.

El Nihuil

We will make a stop at the Villa 25 de Mayo to learn more about the history of the place. Fort San Rafael was founded here, on the banks of the Diamante River. We will continue to the Dam and Embalse El Nihuil, which is an ideal place for lovers of fishing and water sports.

Canon del Atuel

Once in the Atuel Canyon, we will marvel at the incredible natural sculptures that are created on the walls of the canyon, such as The Hanging Gardens or The Rivadavia Armchair. We will continue walking along the Atuel River until we reach Valle Grande, where we will have time to rest and enjoy lunch (not included).

San Rafael

Finally, we will go to the city of San Rafael, where we can take a walk to get to know the city, and then we will be returning to our selected hotels in Mendoza. Day 3 Tour to Los Andes

Potrerillos Dam

The tour offers a variety of colors and reliefs. Early in the morning along the Mendoza river, get a view of the majestic mountain range Cordon del Plata and the Potrerillos dam, colossal work for hydraulic power generation, and water distribution for irrigation.

Uspallata

Your next visit will be Uspallata, the pre-Hispanic settlement of aboriginal Huarpes and the southern last point of the Inca Empire, as far as the Inca Trail from Peru.

Los Penitentes

After visiting the villages of Picheuta, polvareda, Punta de Vacas and Los Penitentes ski resort. Free time for the use of a chair lift that allows us to enjoy beautiful panoramic views.

Puente del Inca

Later, we will find along our route, the Puente del Inca, architectural work with strands of natural hot springs.

Parque Provincial Aconcagua

Continuing our direction and 2,750 meters above sea level, the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua, the colossus of the Americas of 6959 meters.

Las Cuevas

Following the international route to reach our ultimate destination, the village Las Cuevas, European-style located 3200 meters above sea level. Between Las Cuevas Village and the International Tunnel, we will find the route that allows us to climb to the Cristo Redentor, which is only open in summer. This beautiful monument symbolizes the union between Argentines and Chileans.

Day 4 Departure

Mendoza

Transfer from the hotel to the airport. End of 4-Day Classic Mendoza Tour.
