The Palace has over 700 rooms and extends over 721,000 square feet. Follow your guide straight ahead to visit the most beautiful rooms in the palace, such as the King’s Grand Apartments, with seven rooms dedicated to different gods and the Queen’s Grand Apartments, mirroring those of the King, including the Coronation Room and the Queen’s Bedroom, once occupied by Marie Antoinette.

Admire the splendor of the Versailles Hall of Mirrors, a unique room where the famous architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart welcomed and impressed guests. It was established almost 240 feet long to blind tourists to the Sun King, Louis XIV.

In 1661, the landscape architect Andre Le Notre was commissioned by Louis XIV to lay out the grounds and gardens, something that was just as important to the king as the building itself. Enjoy your free time walking through the Versailles Gardens and admiring the 386 artworks (including over 200 statues), fountains, flower beds, lakes, and trees. A range of activities, such as the Grandes Eaux Musicales, are organized during the summer months when the fountains dance to music.

At roughly 12:00pm you will return to your Paris accommodation.
