Edinburgh – Stirling – The Famous Grouse Experience – Warehouse No. 9 – The Hermitage – Dunkeld Cathedral – Edinburgh
The tour starts at 08:45am with a ride past the ancient power seat of Scotland: Stirling Castle. You’re going to hear the stories that made William Wallace famous and see the battlefields and castles that inspired the past and present of Scotland.
We arrive farther north at The Popular Grouse Experience, one of the highlands ‘ most famous distilleries. Before being escorted to the exclusive ‘Warehouse No. 9 you will be taken on an informative tour. The unique aromas and impressive displays of this room are truly amazing, and the only whisky lesson you’ll ever need is your private nosing and tasting. After a light lunch at the restaurant of the distillery, we head for Perthshire, where we take a gentle walk through the forest to the cascading Black Linn Falls on the Braan River.
Our return trip to Edinburgh will take a final stop to admire the Dunkeld Cathedral’s architectural delights, a building uniting the Gothic and Norman past of Scotland. We’re back at about 5:30pm.
