Better Rijksmuseum with certified guide!

The Rijksmuseum has more than only works by Dutch masters. Ship models, sculptures, archaeological artefacts, costumes, weapons, prints, photographs, and more bring to life the Netherlands’ rich cultural history. Also, from the Middle Ages to the present day, hundreds of artefacts detail the history of Amsterdam and place our country in a global perspective.

There are sculptures, works of Asian art, etchings, and artefacts from the Dutch nautical heritage among Golden Age treasures. There are also contemporary additions, such as Yves Saint Laurent‘s Mondrian-inspired garment from 1965.

The museum features a freshly created garden that is the perfect spot to rest in the gorgeous surroundings, in addition to the paintings, art, and the architecture, which have all been there since 2013. Check out the Rijksmuseum’s website for additional information about the museum’s regular guided tours, seminars and other activities.
