Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Sydney
You’ll be moved to your hotel upon arrival at Sydney Airport (schedule: anytime). The rest of the day is for your spare time.
Day 2: Sydney Sights & Harbour Cruise Lunch
For stunning views of the city skyline, across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and pause at Milsons Point. For a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, stop off at North Head Lookout. At Manly Beach, enjoy your free time and walk along The Corso before heading back to the city. For a 2-course lunch a la carte, board your Captain Cook Lunch Cruise.
This afternoon, you’ll drive to Mrs. Macquarie‘s Chair via the City and the Territory. For close-up views of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, get your camera ready. Before you arrive at Bondi Beach, pause at the headland known as The Gap, where you can walk along the shoreline before re-boarding your coach to return to town.
Day 3: the Blue Mountains & Sydney Zoo
Explore the Blue Mountains National Park, a World Heritage site. Before arriving at Scenic World, where you can experience the vastness of the Blue Mountains, view the iconic Three Sisters rock formation from a perfect vantage point. You can ride the Scenic Railway, Cableway, or Skyway, a perfect way to see the steep canyons and valleys, and follow the boardwalk (own cost) along the valley floor.
Rest in picturesque Leura where you’ll enjoy lunch in a nearby café (own expense). Next, immerse yourself in the Sydney Zoo Aussie Bush Safari. See dingoes, koalas, wombats, devils from Tasmania, and echidnas in the Australian Precinct in a cage-free setting.
For you to communicate openly with kangaroos, wallabies and emus wander along the level paths leading to the Bungarribee Dreaming Experience offered by Aboriginal guides. With its underwater shark viewing, visit the underground nocturnal and reptile house and make sure not to miss the native aquarium.
You will have the opportunity to take a river cruise back to the city along the Parramatta River (own expense) through the suburb of Homebush, the site of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, back to Sydney. The coach will fly back to the town if you do not want to enter the ferry.
Day 4: Depart Sydney
After breakfast, your short break ends this morning. You will be moved for your onward flight to Sydney Airport (schedule: anytime).
