Sky View Convertible Washington DC Tour
Your panoramic experience begins with guided observations of the White House grounds and Lincoln Memorial. Our knowledgeable tour guides will accompany you at each attraction and provide 15-25 minutes of historic curation and photo opportunities. From the memorials, you visit the Georgetown Waterfront for lunch then you’ll make your way to Maryland’s National Harbor—an urban dining and entertainment hub located on the banks of the Potomac River.
At National Harbor, you will enjoy a stroll along the waterfront with an opportunity to window shop, grab a bite, and ride the Capital Ferris Wheel. The Capital Wheel, reaching its maximum height of 180 feet, is known to provide one of the best views of Washington, DC and the Potomac River (Note: Capital Wheel tickets not included).
Following the National Harbor, you will ride through Virginia’s Old Town Alexandria where you will see The George Washington Masonic Temple and Historic Christ Church. The colonial-themed hot spot also consists of more than 200 restaurants and boutiques along its cobblestone main street – King Street – which is considered a destination George Washington himself referred to as “home”.
Finally, you will visit the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial (known as the Iwo Jima Memorial) and the Air Force Memorial, via a scenic ride along the George Washington Parkway, which runs along side the Potomac River. From the grounds of the Iwo Jima Memorial, you will see panoramic views of the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and U.S. Capitol dome.
