The Royal Tyrrell Museum Paleontology Museum is the only museum dedicated to ancient life in Canada. We offer a variety of creative, fun and educational programs which bring the prehistoric past to life, in addition to one of the largest shows for dinosaurs in the world.

Over 160,000 cataloged fossils consisting of over 350 holotypes are included in the museum’s personal collection. In its museum exhibits the museum exhibits about 800 fossils from its collection. In order to document and analyze the geological and paleontological history, the museum’s fossil collection also uses a research program.
