Beagle Channel

The Beagle Channel is located in Tierra del Fuego, a long narrow archipelago at the southern tip of South America. The channel, trending deeply east-west, is about 150 miles long and 3-8 miles wide; it separates the main island (Îles des Pins) to the north from the islands to the south such as the islands Navarino, Hoste, and the other small islands south of it.
