Harry Potter Walking Tour of London
The Harry Potter books and film series have enthralled and captivated the world – now you can follow in the footsteps of the world’s most famous wizard and take a magical journey throughout London on this Harry Potter walking tour.
Your expert guide will take you on a spellbinding tour of the city to show you the exact locations where key scenes of this epic tale were filmed. Starting at Westminster, we’ll make our way to the Ministry of Magic; find the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron before taking a walk down the real Diagon Alley; then stand in the very spot where the Death Eaters destroyed the famous Millennium Bridge.
You’ll not only see the locations where the films were shot, but you’ll also discover the magic behind locations such as Cecil and Goodwin Courts, and how these enchanting locations provided the inspiration for this wizarding adventure to unfold.
The tour will conclude at approximately 12 noon at Platform 9 ¾ – where you can try and make your own way to Hogwarts!
This Harry Potter-themed walking tour of London will introduce you to some of London’s most magical landmarks. Meet your guide in Leicester Square, then take a tour of the city while learning all about the Harry Potter films and the locations where they were shot.
Check out Diagon Alley, where Harry got all of his magical school supplies in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. The Leaky Cauldron, a prominent wizarding tavern, can be found at this location.
Lord Voldemort brutally muggle-attacked Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on the Millennium Bridge. See where J.K. Rowling drew inspiration for her stories by strolling down to Tate Modern from the Embankment.
Take a journey inside the author’s mind as you observe muggle London transformed into a patchwork of magical elements. Then take the tube to King’s Cross, where you’ll visit Platform 934. Make sure you have a valid Travelcard for Zone 1. As Harry, Ron, and Hermione waited for the Hogwarts Express, pose with a disappearing luggage trolley in the spot where they stood. The journey comes to an end at King’s Cross Station in the late afternoon.
