You can wander along this excellent natural wonder’s rim-unblemished by contemporary civilization. On the Skywalk (optional tour) you can walk. David Jin, the man who designed and funded Skywalk, makes this U-shaped platform, 70 ft above the edge and 4,000 feet above the canyon ground. You can also choose to board a pontoon boat (optional tour) on a helicopter ride flight into the Grand Canyon & cruise along the Colorado River.

Then we’ll return to Las Vegas to stay the night.

While crossing the Mojave Desert, you’ll see at a distance Edwards Air Force Base, where the sound barrier was broken for the first time in history and where U.S. space shuttles landed several times. Looking up at the sky, you might be able to catch a glimpse on the training mission of the latest U.S. aircraft. Then pass the biggest windmill farm in California on Tehachapi Mountain.
