After breakfast, move you to Lintong, visit the impressive 2000-year-old Terracotta Warriors and Horses, a lifetime view of China‘s extraordinary 2200-year-old terra-cotta Force. Give yourself lunch at the local restaurant. Visit the Huaqing Hot Tub, known as Emperor Tangxuanzong and Lady Yang‘s favorite concubine.

Back to town.

Spend the morning at the Shaanxi Historical Museum, one of the best museums in China. It is a big, modern national museum.

We’ll then visit the Pagoda of the Giant Wild Goose. The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda is a landmark of Xian and is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. For panoramic views (admission not included), you have the choice of climbing it here.

We’ll enjoy a dumpling banquet in the evening and a popular Tang show.

Day 4: Xi’an

We’ll visit the Bell Tower and Drum Tower after breakfast, where you can get a bird’s eye view of the city from the roof, and drop off at the Bell Tower.

First, we’re going to move down the shopping street, which is the middle district, the northern district, the southern district. There’s a cultural plaza, a performance center, and restaurants in every neighborhood. Enjoy the local food in the Muslim Quarter.

Xi’an‘s Great Mosque is a quiet and historic mosque that has served the Muslim community of Xi’an for more than a millennium. Its buildings are the largest and best-preserved ancient mosques in China, a fascinating combination of Chinese and Arabic styles.
