Location: Illinois (IL)

The state of Illinois in the Midwest region of the United States of America has the highest population density. The state contains a wide variety of environments, ranging from huge urban centres like Chicago to quaint tiny villages and open farmland in between.

The majority of Illinois is comprised of low-lying plains, the majority of which is agricultural; the only exceptions to this are the river valleys and the southern region, both of which contain hills and forest.
