We will leave Edinburgh and make our way to Stirling’s ancient Scottish capital. The castle and the iconic Wallace Monument dominate its skyline. We will stop hearing about the most famous patriot of Scotland and his part in the medieval Wars of Independence.

We drive further into the Highlands with the opportunity to spot one of the famous residents of Scotland: the Hairy Coo, or Highlands cattle. Then we will travel through Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park’s scenic beauty. Before we stop for lunch at one of Scotland’s most famous whisky distilleries, we pass the shimmering beauty of Loch Earn.

Optional Whisky Distillery Tour: The Famous Grouse Experience (Additional Cost):

The optional guided tour will give you an insight into how uisge beatha (the water of life) is made and will take you on a journey to discover the history behind one of the most iconic exports in Scotland.

After the opportunity to revive ourselves with a wee dram of the water of life, we will head to the Hermitage in Perthshire’s heart and take a short walk in the woods to see the spectacular Black Linn Falls on the Braan River. Our return trip visits Dunkeld’s quaint village in Macbeth country, whose stunning cathedral is located on the banks of the Tay River. We will go back to Edinburgh, passing on the way through the iconic Forth Bridge.
