Ruckl Crystal and Pilsner Urquell Brewery Day Trip from Prague

The first pilsner lager was brewed in Pilsen, the world’s beer capital. Private car and guided Pilsen City center tours are included, as well as a guided tour of the Pilsner Urquell brewery and a tasting of unfiltered beer that comes out of oak barrels at the end of the tour (joining a group).

On the way to Pilsen, you’ll stop at the Bohemia Crystal factory, where expertise has been passed down through one family for more than three centuries. On a tour of the glassworks, you’ll learn about the rich history of Bohemia Crystal and observe master glassblowers at work (joining a group).

Departing from Prague you will discover two of the most famous Czech products: glass and beer! We’ll first journey to Pilsen, a metropolis of Western Bohemia, a discover famous 170-year-old Prazdroj Brewery. Here you’ll discover how the factory, process, and beer have developed over the ages.

Then, we’ll head to the small town of Nizbor on the Berounka River, just outside of Prague. Here we’ll learn about the ancient history surrounding Czech glassmaking and the contemporary production of it in Bohemia.
