Itinerary

Rijksmuseum

You begin this tour at the Rijksmuseum, where you will be able to enjoy some of Holland’s most famous artists, such as Rembrandt, while also learning about the country’s rich cultural history. Our docents will share their favorite anecdotes about the museum’s most interesting and unusual exhibits. For those who are unfamiliar with Dutch culture, you will be introduced to its rich and vibrant past through a selection of paintings and artifacts from the 8000 objects on display, which will allow you to gain a better understanding of the country.

You will learn about well-known artists such as Rembrandt while also learning about lesser-known items such as 17th-century dollhouses and Vermeer’s portrait of domesticity, “The Milkmaid.” A fascinating 19th century library contains more stories than you could possibly tell in a lifetime.

Van Gogh Museum

You’ve probably heard of Vincent Van Gogh, one of the most well-known painters in the world. How much do you know about this Dutch artist, on the other hand? After taking a short break for lunch, visit the Van Gogh Museum to learn more about the artist who created the famous sunflowers and self-portraits that can be found in museums around the world. Seen here are works such as “The Potato Eaters” and “The Bedroom,” as well as a selection of objects from his studio.

Visit the Van Gogh Museum, which houses the world’s largest collection of the artist’s work, while also learning about his troubled life, which began in Holland and ended in France. And, yes, you will talk about what happened with that ear.
