Great Ocean Road Reverse Itinerary Tour

In Colac, a country city, for morning tea before continuing on the Shipwreck Route, the first stop will be on the Great Ocean Road. Here you can find Gibson Steps, Loch Ard Gorge, and the 12 Apostles, of course. In reality, the sunlight is better for viewing and photographs than there are fewer people at these stops! Take a picnic lunch at one of the amazing places.

Start the drive back along the Great Ocean Street as you start to flee the Great Otway National Park from the coast. It is time to spread your legs among the world’s tallest tree species on a stunning guided rainforest stroll.

The path and the ocean converge in the seaside town of Apollo Bay after a short drive. From here, on the coast, the route overlooks the beach, the sea, and the cliff. In this spectacular stretch of the Great Ocean Road, you stop at Kenneth River, a small town where your guide helps you discover wild coal from among the eucalyptus trees.

Following the journey through small towns on the seacoast, stop at Memorial Arch, also known as the sign for The Great Ocean Road, commemorating the workers who built the road. Take the road (or to the end of this round trip) from here, the ideal way to end the journey on the Great Ocean Road.
