Park Güell

Park Güell

Park Güell

Quick facts

The Park Güell is a public park scheme consisting of gardens and architectural components situated in Barcelona’s Carmel Hill.

It is yet another masterpiece of Gaudí’, alongside La Sagrada familia and many other artistic architectural monuments scattered around city of Barcelona.

This specific garden system is designed in his naturalist phase (first decade of the 20th century). During this period, the architect perfected his style through inspiration from nature. That’s why it is very rare to have a straight line in shapes of buildings and paths in the park.

One of the terraces of the park gives spectacular view of Barcelona that cannot be missed when you visit this magnificent attraction.
