About Woodbury Common Premium Outlets

Located in Central Valley, New York, the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets is a shopping mall with outlet stores. Simon Property Group subsidiary Premium Outlets owns and operates the shopping center, which is named after the town in which it is located. Since its opening in late 1985, the center has grown to include 220 stores and more than 800,000 square feet (72,000 m2) of retail space, making it one of the largest contiguous outlet malls in the world. Its size necessitates a color-coded system to help visitors navigate it.

Woodbury Common is a popular destination for tourists from around the world because of its proximity to New York City. China has surpassed Japanese tourists as the most common source of international tourists.

Shuttles and tour buses leave New York City every day. The facility has a team of interpreters on hand, as well as currency exchange and international shipping services. Japanese, Spanish, French, and Portuguese are among the languages used to greet visitors.
