Giverny

Giverny, a little village in Normandy approximately an hour from Paris, is where Claude Monet lived for forty-three years, from 1883 to 1926, and painted some of his most famous works. A private chauffeur will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the village, where you will tour the artist’s home and the gardens that he painted.

Then, after driving through the breathtaking scenery of the Vexin Français Regional Nature Park, which inspired many Impressionist painters, you’ll return to Paris to see the Musée D’Orsay, an exquisite museum housed in a former train station and home to an exceptional collection of Impressionist paintings by Monet, Manet, Renoir, Cézanne, Van Gogh, and others.

You’ll also find exquisite pieces by Matisse, Toulouse Lautrec, and Gauguin, as well as a variety of Rodin and Camille Claudel sculptures.
