Mont Saint-Michel Small Group Guided Day Trip from Paris

The evening starts with a guided tour of the Abbey, since the 8th century a famous pilgrimage site. The cloister, the imposing refectory, and the charming ocean view garden are among the highlights. With a walk along the ramparts, make the most of your time at the abbey. Breathe in the salty sea air to the beauty of your environment.

After the Abbey’s guided tour, you’ll be free to explore the tight streets and watch the beautiful views of Mont Saint-Michel Bay in wonder.

We will leave Mont Saint-Michel at roughly 4:30 p.m. and return to the Paris office at roughly 9:45 p.m. when you will be driven back to your Paris City hotel.

Choose between an early hotel pick up or meet your group at a central Paris location, then set out toward the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mont-St-Michel. Relax on board and enjoy picture-perfect views of the Normandy coast en route to the rocky island.

On arrival, if you’ve selected the option, tuck into a delicious 3-course lunch to fuel up before you explore. Then, follow your guide up the narrow paths of the tiny village toward the top for panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding bay.

Continue in the footsteps of medieval pilgrims, as your guide reveals some of the fascinating histories of Mont-St-Michel, the extreme tides that shape its coast, and its famous Benedictine Abbey. Then, enjoy free time to explore the island’s shops, museums, and inspiring nature at your leisure. After your time here, travel back to Paris where your tour concludes.
