You will travel by road and explore the small villages of the area, taking you to discover and observe the local fauna and flora. In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and taken on the path toward the mountain. The tour offers a variety of colors and reliefs.

We’ll begin our hike early in the morning near the Mendoza River, enjoying stunning views of the majestic mountain range Cordon del Plata and the Potrerillos Dam, a colossal engineering feat that is invaluable for the region, from the hydraulic power generated and water distributed for irrigation.

Mendoza: Hiking with snowshoesOur next visit will be to Uspallata pre-Hispanic settlement of aborigine Huarpes and the southernmost point of the Inca Empire, stretching further than the Inca Trail of Peru. From here we’ll also discover the Vaults of Uspallata, historic “adobe” (mud) buildings where local minerals were processed and the chaplain Fray Luis Beltran used them for casting cannons and guns.

After visiting the villages of Picheuta, Polvareda, Punta de Vacas, and Los Penitentes ski resort, we’ll enjoy free time to take the chair lift into the mountains to enjoy beautiful panoramic views.

Later, we will travel along the route to Puente del Inca, home to unique and natural architecture as well as hot springs

Continuing our direction and 2750 meters above sea level to the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua the colossus of the Americas at 6959 meters. From here we’ll travel to the Laguna Horcones and the Aconcagua Provincial Park.

Following the international route, we will reach our ultimate destination, the village Las Cuevas, which is in European-style located 3200 meters above sea level.

Between Las Cuevas and the international tunnel, its is the path that allows us up to the “Cristo Redentor” monument, located 4200 meters above sea level, which symbolizes the union between Argentinians and Chileans.

Afterward, we’ll transfer you back to your hotel in Mendoza.
