Itinerary

Welcome to a city of contrasts, world-famous sports stadiums and historic gardens, Melbourne. Be dazzled by the wonderful sights of the most vibrant city in Australia and learn from your expert guide about the fascinating past of Melbourne.

Join Oceania on a small group tour to make the most of your stay as you zoom in and around the area, visiting wonders like Federation Square, MCG and our world-famous sports district, St Patrick's Cathedral, Albert Park Lake (Formula 1) and St Kilda Beach. You can also take a stroll in the gardens and if allowed, visit St Patrick's Cathedral.

Your tour will end by visiting the famous Eureka Tower in Melbourne. At Eureka Skydeck 88, where you will be spoiled with 360 degree views of the area, Port Phillip Bay and out to the Dandenongs and the Yarra Valley, you can buy a ticket on the day to scrape the sky to see the awe-inspiring skyline.

A maximum of 11 individuals will be in your party, so you will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions about your guide and get to know your fellow travelers.

With your small group, experience this magnificent coastal drive in style and enjoy the time to relax and fully appreciate the wonders of this world-famous road. Keep an eye on some very interesting species, including whales, dolphins, echidnas, and bandicoots. Along this exciting path, your camera will get a good workout and we will allow for plenty of photo opportunities.

You will have time to walk along the wild beaches or stop at the striking Split Point Lighthouse for a coffee (at your own cost) and take in the awe-inspiring scenery. You can stop at Apollo Bay, a peaceful seaside town set among the soft rolling hills, offering a great range of cafes and restaurants (not included) where you can stop for lunch.

Situated at the iconic Great Ocean Road Ecolodge, Oceania offers exclusive access to an ancient Eucalyptus Forest walk, where you can have intimate encounters with koalas, kangaroos and native birds. As a passenger on our Great Ocean Road Day Tour, you will contribute to the conservation program of the Great Ocean Ecolodge to preserve the region's local tiger quolls, koalas, and distinctive flora.

The visit to the ancient rock formations of the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge rounded off a truly unique day out.
