Today, you will visit one of Bohemia’s most beautiful chateaus – Konopiste, where you can admire its large park and garden area along with its fascinating collection of historical furniture, sculptures, paintings, tapestries, and countless hunting trophies. It was once the home of the successor to the Austrian throne, Ferdinand d’ Este, whose assassination in Sarajevo in 1914 served as a pretext to the start of World War I.

Your tour begins with a 45-minute drive to Konopiste Castle from your Prague hotel or a centrally placed meeting spot of your choice. Take a few minutes to view the castle’s Baroque front and pose for a few selfies before embarking on a 1-hour guided tour inside (not included: 150CZK per person).
