Karlovy Vary – Spa Carlsbad Excursion with Lunch
Travel to the famous spas of Karlovy Vary, tour the Moser Glass Factory Museum, and sample some of the finest mineral water in the world! The largest and most well-known Czech spa will be visited during this tour, and you will have the opportunity to see it (its German name is Carlsbad). Since 1358, when the Emperor Charles IV built a hunting lodge in this area, this town has been associated with the Emperor’s reign.
There are 12 famous springs in the area, the most famous of which is Vridlo, which has a temperature of approximately 72°C. Karlovy Vary is also well-known for its local industries, which include the production of china and glass. Several of these products are on display at a special exhibition and are available for purchase in specialty shops.
Many rulers and artists, including Goethe, Chateaubriand, Chopin, Beethoven, Brahms, and Dvorak, paid a visit to the spa, including Goethe himself. We will set aside some time for lunch (included). A visit to the Moser glass factory museum and glass shop will also be included.
