The Hoover Dam is only one hour away from Las Vegas! What a great way to spend your afternoon! The tour includes all expenses paid tour of the inner workings of the tour, where you will be informed of the long history of the Hoover Dam as well as its purpose.
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in the morning between 7:50 am – 9:30 am and take you to our check in location for a breakfast snack before heading out to the Hoover dam! Along the way you can enjoy narration of Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder city.
At the dam you will have access to the Visitors Center, Exhibit Halls, Museum, Movie Room. You can also enjoy a fascinating Power Plant tour and walk along the Mike O’Callaghan – Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge for the best photo opportunities of Hoover Dam and the Colorado River.
You should be back on the Las Vegas Strip at around 3:00pm – 3:30pm.

Boulder City/Hoover Dam Museum
Your small-group tour starts with pick up from your Las Vegas Strip or downtown hotel at approximately 8am. Head out with your certified interpretive guide on a tour that includes an extended Exterior tour of the Dam, walk across the dam into Arizona, the new Hoover Dam Bridge which stands 900 feet above the Colorado River. The views from the top of the Dam as well as the bridge are truly breathtaking.
Hoover Dam
Located in Black Canyon on the Colorado River, the Hoover Dam was once the largest dam in the world. It is an outstanding achievement, noteworthy not only for its enormous dimensions, complex design and intricate construction, but also for its illustration of mans outstanding ability to overcome the desert’s summer sun, the vagaries of a treacherous river and the extreme hazards of great heights on the chasm’s sheer walls. The building of the dam also created Lake Mead, North America’s largest man-made reservoir.
