This Venice tour combines Venice’s picturesque and enchanting routes with the magical canals that make this town so famous. Start with a walking tour of Venice to delve into Venice’s deepest soul, discover the town from an uncommon and lovely viewpoint, and end with a romantic gondola tour of Venice.
Our walking tour of Venice will bring us to uncover Venice’s most hidden gems and some of its most popular regions. We’re going to admire the Fenice Theater (only outside), famous all over the globe for its annual opera masterpieces.
Then we will find a masterpiece of hidden architecture called “Scala of the Bovolo,” an exceptional example of Venetian architecture: gothic art mixed with Renaissance style. A small “calle” (the alley of Venice) that many individuals ignore will bring us to it.
We will then walk through the vibrant region near Rialto Bridge, once a pulsating business life center back in time, dotted today with small stores of all kinds.
The other side (and portion) of this trip will bring us out of the vibrant alleys to explore a quieter and more peaceful Venice that can only be found by slipping with a gondola on its channels.
An enchanting and relaxing way to enjoy the colors, lights, sights, charm and beauty of Venice. We will admire elegant bank-side palaces, unique bridges and breath the charming and magic atmosphere that only a town built on water can give you.
Board assistance will be provided, no commentary included during the ride. We will take a place on the Gondola and let the local gondolier, with his distinctive blue and white striped shirt, bring us along the hidden channels of Venice.
