Barcelona Gourmet Tapas Walking Tour and Flamenco Show

Eixample – El Born – Gothic Quarter – Plaça Reial

Take a leisurely walk to the edge of the Eixample district to find a tapas gem and one of Barcelona’s finest modernist-style bars after meeting your guide in central Barcelona near Palau de la Musica.

Barcelona Old Town Walking Tour, Flamenco Show & Tapas Tour in the Born District

The bar provides delicious Catalan favorite dishes such aspa amb tomàquet (bread with olive oil and tomatoes) and brave potatoes (oil beans, red pepper, and chili, served with aioli). Watch the chef prepare the food, then sit down to enjoy a plate and a drink while listening to Catalan cuisine stories.

Have a walk to Born and listen to your guide explain the history, food, and culture of Barcelona as you go. Your target is the locally-loved ham store in the neighborhood, where enormous serrano ham legs hang in the windows.

Head inside and sample some of the finest meats produced from pigs fed with acorns and sample common cheeses like Manchego.

Continue your walk through Born, pass the Barcelona Cathedral (Holy Cross and St. Eulalia Cathedral) and the old Roman city walls, and then wind your way to the heart of the Gothic Quarter to Plaça Reial, a busy night square near La Rambla, where the highlight of your evening awaits— a flamenco performance inside one of Barcelona’s oldest flamenco bars!

Itinerary

We Barcelona

Greetings from the We team! People’s ideas about how to spend their free time are being reshaped by World Experience. For us, living and traveling are worthwhile only if we are able to create unforgettable moments and memories for ourselves and others. Experiences in the city and its environs are something we take great pride in offering at World Experience, and now we want to share them with you.

Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic)

Starting at Plaça Sant Felip Neri, walk through the Gothic Quarter until you arrive at the Born. Learn about the history of the Born district. The oldest parts of Barcelona can be found in this district, which is home to the city’s Roman wall and a number of important medieval structures.

However, much of the quarter’s current fabric dates back to the 19th and early 20th centuries. Both the medieval Jewish enclave of El Call and the abandoned synagogue of Sinagoga Major are located here. This section of Barcelona’s Old City still has a maze-like grid of streets and squares. The majority of the quarter is off-limits to regular traffic, but service vehicles and taxis are allowed to pass through.

Palau Dalmases

Arrive at Palau Dalmases where you are going to enjoy the Flamenco show Have a drink while you see the show
