Avignon and Pont du Gard Day Trip from Paris by High Speed Rail

Arrival at Paris’ Gare de Lyon from 7:30am to 7:45am. Our representative from ParisCityVision will be in front of the Starbucks coffee shop at the train station door.

The TGV train leaves at 8:00 a.m. Once you arrive at 11:20am at the Avignon train station, take the Nord metro, where our driver will welcome you to the welcome desk, showing a PARISCityVISION poster.

Visit with an audio guide to the Popes’ Palace. Walk through the downtown region.

Free dinner time in Avignon.

Your driver will drive you to Les Baux de Provence, a Provencal mountain village. Admire the beautiful buildings from the 16th century. Free time to browse local products including perfumes, Provencal fabrics and lavender.

By visiting the renowned Roman Pont du Gard Bridge, constructed in a protected setting, you will end your trip. It is an iconic bridge constructed in the first century AD, Ancient Roman, initially an aqueduct.

Your driver will take you back to the TGV railway station in Avignon at 7:30pm to catch the train back to Paris Gare de Lyon at 8:04pm.
