For a scenic cruise along the Torrens River, we’ll start by boarding the famed’ Pop-eye’ ship, relaxing as we watch Adelaide’s lovely greenery pass us by.
You will join our sightseeing tour from the rotunda next to King William Road at 1:20pm after the cruise.
We will continue our sightseeing tour of Adelaide as we ride across the city and see Chinatown, Adelaide Central Market, Victoria Square, St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, and King William Street. Here we will learn about the four major terraces of the city that separate the central business and residential area from the surrounding parks. Our tour will take us across the North and East Terraces where we will explore the fashionable Hutt Street and East Terrace’s green suburbs.
After our sightseeing tour we will head out of town for a day trip to the Adelaide Hills in the Mt Lofty Ranges. Here we will enjoy beautiful town, Glenelg, and St Vincent’s Gulf views. We will visit the charming village of Bridgewater along the way and see the iconic Mill and Waterwheel of Bridgewater. First, we’re going to visit the popular Beerenberg Strawberry Farm, a household name in and outside Australia.
We’re going to travel from here to the oldest German settlement in Australia-Hahndorf. Take a relaxing stroll under the Elm trees along the main street of Hahndorf and take delicious afternoon tea with old-fashioned hospitality in nice surroundings (or seek a trio sampler of the best beers in Germany).
Afterwards we will return to Adelaide where we will enjoy views of the Adelaide skyline as you dine at the renowned River Cafe at a delicious three-course dinner with a drink.
